This form of teardrop I have used later in life.  I made a pin like it and gave that one to my grandmother; she is buried with it.

 

 

 

 This is a medal wallet.  The idea came from a cigarette case that my grandfather had.  I remember the metals class thought that this was a really out there idea.  It won a prize at the Wisconsin State Fair.
